Non-Line of Duty

Gary Johannaber, 56 of Paris, passed away on Saturday morning, September 14,
2019 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.


He was born on March 14, 1963 in Moberly, the son of Don and JoAnn Forrest
Johannaber.  Gary graduated from Paris R-II High School in 1981.  After high
school, he went to work for Johannaber Plumbing and Heating.  On July 11,
1986 he married Karen Craig in Holliday and she survives at home. Other
survivors include his parents; one son, Wren (Hannah) Johannaber of Moberly;
one daughter, Amanda (Jensyn) Angell of Texas; three grandchildren, Liyah
Angell, Lyric Angell and Wells Angell; one sister, Donna (Jay) Mitchell of
Centralia; two nephews, Guy (Amy) Mitchell and Cole (Bethany) Mitchell and
one niece, Erin (Jason) Kramer.  Gary was preceded in death by one uncle,
Harold Johannaber.


Gary was a member of the Paris Rural Fire Protection District, where he
served as Captain for many years, and also, served for several years on the
Paris Rural Fire Protection District Board.  Gary attended Friendship
Christian Church in Centralia.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 2:00 at
Agnew Funeral Home with Pastor David Troyer and Reverend Jed Angell
officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of
service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.


Memorials may be made to Friendship Christian Church or Paris Rural Fire
Protection District.
