Victor joined the fire service as a Junior Firefighter with the Cedar Hill
Fire Protection District and became a Senior Firefighter in time. In June
1979, Victor joined the City of Kirkwood Fire Department and after 31 years
of service retired from the department in May 2010 at the rank of Engineer.
He loved being a firefighter and EMT, and said many times, "It's not a job,
it's an adventure."

Victor was an accomplished pianist and photographer.

Many people will remember Victor as "Santa Vic". As the tallest boy in his
grade-school Christmas play, he was chosen to be Santa, and he was hooked.
It wasn't until he retired that Victor was able to grow his own beard and
truly become Santa. There are many families whose children believe Santa Vic
was the true Santa Claus. In 2014, Victor joined the International
Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas.

Victor believed in the philanthropy of the Masons and Shriners and, with the
support of all, many goals can be accomplished. Victor was raised as a
Master Mason in 2004 at Kirkwood Lodge 484 and joined Moolah as a Shriner
shortly thereafter. In 2010, Victor was asked to join the Board of
Directors' advancing line at Moolah called Divan. Victor would have been
Potentate in 2016. In 2008, Victor served as President of the Moolah Drum
and Bugle Corps and as a Potentate Aide. In 2010, Victor was appointed an
Ambassador. Victor was a member of the Moolah Photo Staff, and an Honorary
Member of the Moolah Clowns. In 2009, Victor was invited to join Arca #21,
Order of Quetzalcoatl. In 2013 Victor earned his Clan 140 Sho-Me Grand &
Glorious Order of Hillbilly Degree.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children
in St. Louis. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, from 3:00-8:00pm and
Masonic service will begin at 7:00p.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester,
Kirkwood, MO. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00am at Bopp Chapel.
Private interment.
